Great (and true) book about a young woman's journey to Jesus against all odds. Severe abuse of every kind and she made it through to become a warrior for Jesus, because of His intervention and a bicycle.

So surreal as to what happens behind closed doors. Eye opener for people to know about the hidden abuse within families.

To say this is a powerful story is an understatement. The amount of pain and suffering that the author endured is nearly unbelievable, but the triumph is greater. It reminds me of the stories of prisoners of war in both WWII and Vietnam, and the daily torture they endured. Men like Colonel Nick Rowe and Daniel Pitzer who survived violent torture, beatings and years of living in cages in the jungles of Vietnam. These men came out of those experiences forever changed, yet with a resilience and strength of character that few humans will ever have. The biggest difference is these men were adults and Soldiers. Sandra Lawson was only an innocent child, and not only endured but came out stronger and more capable. But even as a child, she showed amazing courage and intestinal fortitude. Like these Soldiers, her strength came from her faith and her knowledge that God was with her through it all, standing next to her, and sometimes carrying her. If you enjoy true stories of courage, you will love this book.

A very emotional read for me. This girl's belief in Jesus is overwhelmingly strong. I love that she loves the Lord.

Wow, just wow! This book. I have such a longing to make time to read it every single day! I'm about five smaller chapters in and it’s so enjoyable already! The author is great at storytelling and putting the words together! I know there’s more than one book to this series and that excites me so much! I believe God has used her to touch many people!
